1. Who we are
This website is operated by Aurora's Grid, Rue de Lausanne 64, 1020 Renens VD, Switzerland ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data we collect
- Contact form: when you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer your request. The message is delivered to us by email.
- Technical data: like any website, our server may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit in log files, to operate and secure the website.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not set tracking cookies. We do not sell personal data.
3. LinkedIn content
Our news section can show posts published on the Aurora's Grid company page on LinkedIn. To do this, our server uses LinkedIn's official API to read the public posts and images of our own company page. We do not collect any data about visitors of this website from LinkedIn, and we do not access any LinkedIn member data other than the authorization granted by our own page administrators. Links to LinkedIn take you to LinkedIn's website, where LinkedIn's privacy policy applies.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We process personal data to answer your enquiries (your request, or our legitimate interest in communicating with you) and to operate and protect the website (our legitimate interest).
5. Sharing and storage
Your data is only shared with service providers that help us run the website and our email, such as our hosting and email providers, and only as far as needed for that purpose. Data may be processed in Switzerland or the European Economic Area. We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal obligations; server logs are kept for a limited period.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or ask for a copy of it. To do so, contact us at info@aurorasgrid.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page.
